Global Performance Brand Signs First Ivy League School

NEW HAVEN, CT & BALTIMORE, MD (January 11, 2016) Under Armour (NYSE: UA) and Yale University today announced that the global leader in performance footwear and apparel has become the official outfitter for Yale Athletics beginning in 2016. This marks the brand’s first all-sports partnership with an Ivy League Institution.

As part of the multi-year partnership, Under Armour will exclusively design and supply the footwear, apparel and accessories for training and game-day uniforms for Yale’s varsity sports.

In addition to outfitting the Bulldogs’ athletic teams, the brand plans to integrate the University into its wide-ranging story-telling efforts, including collegiate marketing campaigns, social media initiatives, in-store promotions and grassroots activations.

This new affiliation further expands Under Armour’s leadership in providing proven performance benefits to college athletes on all playing fields. The partnership with Yale University marks the brand’s 33rd Division I all-sports partnership.
