Program Philosophy

 Yale Strength and Conditioning Program Philosophy is simple: Train to Improve, Train to Prevent, Train to Win.

The Bulldog Strength program is designed around improving athleticism and on-field performance through scientifically sound, appropriately demanding, dynamic training. We employ various training protocols to ensure year-long development, injury prevention and performance.

 

  • Hours of Operation
    The Brooks-Dwyer weight room is available on a needs basis during the academic year. Due to the high volume of athletes, we do our best to schedule team training times as appropriate. Please contact Emil Johnson with any scheduling questions.

    During the summer of 2012, hours of operations are:
    Monday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    Tuesday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    Wednesday 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    Friday 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
