Scott Lukas joined the Yale Athletics Department in March of 2017 as the Assistant Athletic Director for Development. He is directly responsible for the fundraising and alumni relations of the Football, Hockey, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Golf, Swimming & Diving, Fencing, and Squash programs.
Prior to Yale, Lukas served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations at Wesleyan University. His primary function was to assist the Director of Athletics in the day-to-day operational and facilities management aspects of the athletic department. His responsibilities included the planning and execution of varsity contests and conference championships, the supervision of maintenance to all athletic facilities, and the oversight of all facilities capital projects and renovations.
Lukas was the Director of Football Operations and Recruiting Coordinator at Harvard University from 2011 – 2015. During that time, Lukas administered the day-to-day operations for the Harvard Football program. Lukas also served as the program’s recruiting coordinator and alumni relations coordinator. During his time at Harvard, the Crimson amassed a record of 36-4, won three Ivy League Championships, and produced nine NFL players.
Prior to Harvard, Lukas was the Director of Football Operations at the University of New Hampshire. Lukas oversaw all operational aspects for the Wildcat Football program from 2010 – 2011, a part of UNH Football’s current streak of 14 consecutive FCS Playoff appearances.
The Connecticut native earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Saint Anselm College in 2009 while serving as the football team manager. Following graduation, Lukas worked for a year at Bryant University as the Director of Athletic Operations and Facilities.
Lukas resides in Wethersfield, Conn., with his wife, Elizabeth, and son, Marshall.
