Terry O’Neill was named assistant strength and conditioning coach in July 2013. He came to New Haven after working at the University of Maine for six years, overseeing, men’s hockey, women’s hockey, field hockey, volleyball and swimming & diving.
O’Neill served as a graduate assistant at Canisius College for two years before arriving in Orono. During that two-year period, he also served as director of conditioning and performance enhancement expert at CAN/AM Hockey Camp.
O’Neill is a 2004 graduate of the University of Missouri with a B.S. in fitness and nutrition and a 2007 graduate of Canisius College with a M.S. in physical education. He is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (C.S.C.S.).
He resides in Hamden with his wife Kristen and their two sons, Jack and Will.
