From I-95 North (toward Providence):
Cross Goldstar Bridge (in New London), cross the Thames River, and get in LEFT-hand lane as you cross the river. Take Gales Ferry/U.S. Sub Base exit (Exit 86) to Route 12. Turn right onto Route 12; pass sub base on left in Groton and go approximately 3-4 more miles. Gales Ferry School will be at the corner of Hurlbutt Road. Turn left. Yale's boathouses are at the end of this road at the river's edge.
