Smilow Field Center

Thanks to the donation from Joel E. Smilow '54, the Bulldogs have a renovated multi-purpose facility on Derby Avenue across the street from the football practice fields and next to Coxe Cage. The facility was completed in time for the fall 1993 athletic season and includes a 10,000 net square foot addition with new mechanical and electrical equipment.

The Smilow Center has spacious locker rooms for each of the men's and women's varsity teams and several visitors' locker rooms with an adjoining athletic training room. The first floor showcases a beautiful lounge area with kitchen, varsity locker rooms, an improved athletic equipment distribution and storage area, laundry facilities, and a varsity athletic training center with an eight-person whirlpool, X-ray room, physician examining room, eight taping stations, medical supply storage area and medical staff office space.

The second floor includes more locker rooms, storage areas, team meeting areas with video capability and a sports media room. The Carm Cozza Complex was dedicated Nov. 20, 2010.

The third floor has coaches' locker rooms and conference rooms.

The facility also has a strength training room in the basement.
