No. 2 Bulldogs Sail First Fleet Race of the Spring
The No. 2 Yale coed sailing team sailed all over the East Coast this weekend, placing sixth at the Eckerd Intersectional, and ninth at the Ice Breaker Regatta at Connecticut College. These events were the first fleet races for the Bulldogs this spring.

No. 2 Bulldogs Begin Spring Break Training
The No. 2 Yale coed sailing team will begin its spring break training trip with two competitions this week. One group will race in the Connecticut College Fleet Race, while another will go south for the Eckerd Intersectional. The remaining Bulldogs will begin practices at University of South Florida.

No. 2 Bulldogs Start Season with a Win
The No. 2 Yale coed sailing team began its spring season by winning the Bob Bavier Team Race at College of Charleston this weekend. The Bulldogs did not attend the practice event at Roger Williams due to weather concerns.

No. 2 Bulldogs Begin Team Racing Season
After a long winter and only one day of on-the-water practice, the No. 2 Yale coed sailing team will begin its season with two team racing regattas this weekend. One group will race in the Bob Bavier Team Race at College of Charleston, while the other group with race in a one-day practice event at Roger Williams, since the Sharpe Trophy was cancelled due to the cold.

Yale Sailors Race in World Cup, McNay Finishes Third
Claire Dennis ’13, Sarah Lihan ’10 and Stuart McNay ’05 all competed in the ISAF Sailing World Cup Regatta which took place in Miami over the course of the past six days. They were three out of 580 athletes from 50 different countries and the regatta was the third of five in the ISAF World Cup series.

No. 2 Bulldogs Place Fourth at National Championship
The No. 2 Yale coed sailing team ended its fall season this weekend, placing fourth at the ICSA Match Racing National Championship held at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club in Sonars after three days of racing.

The No. 2 Yale coed sailing team will travel to St. Petersburg, Fla., to compete in the ICSA Match Race National Championship this weekend. This event is the last regatta of the fall sailing season.

Kiss Places Fourth at National Championship
Freshman Mitchell Kiss placed fourth at the ICSA Men's Singlehanded National Championship hosted by Brown in Newport, R.I., this weekend. Two members of the No. 1 Yale coed sailing team will compete at the ICSA Men’s Singlehanded Championship in the Laser this weekend in Newport, R.I., hosted by Brown.

No. 1 Bulldogs Qualify for Fall Championship
This weekend the No. 1 Yale coed sailing team qualified for the Atlantic Coast Championships by placing third at the Erwin Schell Trophy hosted by MIT. The Bulldogs also sent two teams to the Dave Perry Trophy, with the Yale Elis finishing first, and the Yale Bulldogs finishing 11th.

The No. 1 Yale coed sailing team will sail the Erwin Schell Trophy this weekend at MIT, which serves as the New England dinghy championship regatta for the fall season. Yale will also compete in the Dave Perry Trophy, sailed at home.

The No. 1 Yale coed sailing team posted another win this weekend, placing first at the Sherman Hoyt Trophy hosted by Brown. Yale also finished 13th at the Oberg Trophy at MIT.

No. 1 Bulldogs Prepare for Qualifiers
In the final weekend before qualifiers for the Atlantic Coast Championship begins, the No. 1 Yale coed sailing team will compete for the Hoyt Trophy hosted by Brown. Two other teams of Bulldogs will race at MIT in the Oberg Trophy, and at Roger Williams in Southern Series #7.

The No. 1 Yale coed sailing team competed in three regattas this weekend, giving many underclassmen Bulldogs the opportunity to sail. Yale finished fourth at the Captain Hurst Bowl at Dartmouth, ninth at the Great Herring Pond Open at Massachusetts Maritime Academy and sixth at the one-day Firefly/FJ Invite at MIT. The No. 1 Yale coed sailing team defended its title and qualified for the ICSA Match Racing National Championship by winning the New England Match Race Championship held at Salve Regina this weekend. The Bulldogs also placed third at the Moody Trophy and URI and fourth at the Storm Trysail at Larchmont Yacht Club.

The No. 1 Yale coed sailing team will sail the New England Match Racing Championships at Salve Regina this weekend, hoping to qualify for the ICSA Match Racing National Championship. Another team of Bulldogs will also sail big boats at the Storm Trysail Regatta at Larchmont Yacht Club. There is also a traditional collegiate dinghy intersectional, the Moody Trophy hosted by University of Rhode Island.

The No. 1 Yale coed sailing had a dominant weekend, winning the Danmark Trophy at the US Coast Guard Academy, placing fifth at the Jesuit Open at Fordham, finishing 7th at the Gardiner at University of Rhode Island and 2nd at the Women’s Olympians at Salve Regina.

The No. 1 Yale coed sailing team will be sailing in four different regattas this weekend: the Danmark Trophy at Coast Guard, the Gardiner Invitational at University of Rhode Island, the Jesuit Open at Fordham and the Women’s Olympic Regatta at Salve Regina. With so many regattas, this weekend is giving many new members of the team the to opportunity to race.

The No. 1 Yale coed sailing team dominated this weekend, qualifying two sailors for the ICSA Men’s Singlehanded National Championship, winning the St, Mary’s Intersectional by over 100 points, and placing sixth at the Hood Trophy.

The No. 1 Yale coed sailing team will travel south for the St. Mary’s Intersectional this weekend. Sailors will also compete at the Hood Trophy at Tufts and at the New England Men’s Singlehanded Championships sailed at home at the McNay Family Sailing Center.

The No. 1 Yale coed sailing team put up an impressive show of depth this weekend, with strong results in three separate regattas. The Bulldogs placed second at the Hatch Brown at MIT, fourth at the Nevins Trophy at King’s Point and sixth at the BC Central Series hosted by Boston College.

Coming off a successful first weekend, the newly ranked No. 1 Yale coed sailing team will have the opportunity to showcase its depth, sailing two three-division intersectionals and a third traditional two-division regatta. Yale will send teams to the Hatch Brown Trophy at MIT, the Nevins Trophy at the US Merchant Marine Academy King’s Point, and the Boston Harbor Invitational at Boston College.

The No. 2 Yale coed sailing team swept its competition this weekend, winning both the Harry Anderson Trophy sailed at home and the Pine Trophy sailed at the US Coast Guard Academy.

The No. 2 Yale coed sailing team will begin its fall season sailing the Harry Anderson Trophy at the McNay Family Sailing Center. The team will also compete in the Pine Trophy held at the US Coast Guard Academy. Coming off their national championship last spring and two weeks of pre-season training, the Bulldogs are primed and ready to sail.

Red Bull Youth America’s Cup Provides Valuable Experience
After four difficult days of racing, Landy and his team finished the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup in tenth place. Although a disappointing end to a summer of training, Landy’s team USA45 Racing was still proud to have the opportunity to represent the United States in this one of a kind international regatta.

Three Bulldogs Named to All-Academic Sailing Team
In a strong showing, three members of the Yale coed sailing team were named to the Inter-collegiate Sailing Association’s 2013 All-Academic Sailing Team in Minneapolis, Minn., on July 12.
