Two Bulldogs Qualify for National Championship
Two members of the No. 1 Yale coed sailing team qualified for the ICSA Men’s Singlehanded National Championship this weekend after finishing on the podium at the New England Men’s Singlehanded Championship hosted by Niantic Bay Yacht Club. The Bulldogs also placed third at the Hoody Trophy hosted by Tufts, and fifth at the Salt Pond Invitational hosted by Rhode Island.

Bulldogs Sail New England Singlehanded Championship
Sophomore Mitchell Kiss and freshman Malcolm Lamphere will compete in the New England Men’s Singlehanded Championship this weekend at Niantic Bay Yacht Club in hopes of qualifying for the ICSA Men’s Singlehanded National Championship later in the fall. Other members of the Yale coed sailing team will stay in doublehanded boats, racing in the Hood Trophy at Tufts, and the Salt Pond Invitational at Rhode Island.

Bulldogs Win Hatch Brown by 98 Points
The Yale coed sailing team had a remarkable performance this weekend, winning the Hatch Brown Trophy at MIT by a 98-point margin. The Bulldogs also placed fifth at the Boston Harbor Invite at Boston College.

Bulldogs Sail in Boston
The Yale coed sailing team will compete in two regattas in Boston this weekend, the Hatch Brown at MIT and the Boston Harbor Invite at Boston College.

Bulldogs Begin Season with a Second at Home
The Yale coed sailing team began its 2014-2015 season placing second at the Harry Anderson Trophy, hosted at the McNay Family Sailing Center. Yale also qualified for the New England Match Race Championship by placing third at the Pine Trophy, hosted by Coast Guard. The Bulldogs dropped the Mt. Hope Bay Invitational at Roger Williams.

Bulldogs Return to the Water After Championship Season
The Yale coed sailing team will begin its fall season this weekend at home with the Harry Anderson Trophy. The Bulldogs will also compete in the Pine Trophy at Coast Guard and the Mt. Hope Bay Invitation at Roger Williams.

After losing six graduating seniors this past spring, the coed and women’s sailing teams are excited to welcome a talented and passionate group of five sailors who are expected to make a lasting impact on Yale sailing and the Yale community as a whole.

Five Bulldogs Named to All-Academic Sailing Team
On August 5th, five members of the Yale coed sailing team – four also members of the Yale women’s sailing team – were named to the All-Academic Sailing Team by the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association.
