Dorfman splits time between skippering and heavy crewing for the Bulldogs. Member of Jonathan Edwards College. He is majoring in Economics and hopes to work in finance. High School: Ran both track and cross-country for four years and wrestled sophomore year. Earned multiple varsity letters in both track and cross-country. Team captain senior year in Track and Field. Earned Most Inspirational honors in track, wrestling, and cross-country. Narrows League Spring Scholar Athlete. U.S. Army Reserve Scholar Athlete. Cross-country team was 2001 and 2004 Narrows League and 4A West Central District Champions. Numerous high school teammates running in college. Sailed Vanguard 15s, Laser Radials and Lido 14s prior to college. National Merit Finalist, Washington Scholar and Robert C. Byrd Scholar. Personal: Brother Gabe sailed for Harvard from 1998-2003. Grandfather Walter competed for the Bulldogs in cross-country and track while a Yale undergraduate.
