The Yale University baseball team will play a pair of games today, beginning with an afternoon game against Bucknell. The Bulldogs will cap off the day with a night game against Valparaiso under the lights.
Yale's game against Bucknell was originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday, but rain forced the postponement of the game to today. The Bulldogs will face the Bison at Lake Myrtle Park in Auburndale, Fla., at 2 p.m.
Yale will then travel to Chain 'O Lakes Park in Winter Haven, Fla., to take on Valparaiso at 7 p.m.
Yale (0-3) enters the day still looking for its first win of the season. Through the first three games of the season, Yale has been led by junior shortstop Cale Hanson, who is hitting .364. In the three games, Hanson is 4-for-11 with a double and a run scored. Kevin Fortunato, Eric Hsieh and freshman Nate Adams all are second on the team with three hits apiece.
The Bulldogs have five games remaining in Florida. They will return to Lake Myrtle Park tomorrow for a 6 p.m. game against North Dakota State.
