2008: Played in 14 games, making 12 starts, before suffering a season-ending injury against Harvard...Started 11 games behind the plate and one at DH...Posted a .267 average in just 45 at-bats...Broke out of an 0-for-14 slump with a double off the third base bag at Radford on March 22...Finished that game 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI...Went 2-for-2 at Connecticut on March 26...Belted first two career home runs at Quinnipiac on April 2, part of a 4-for-6 effort where he had a career-high five RBIs and three runs scored.

2007: Saw action in 12 games, making five starts behind the plate and three at DH...Made first collegiate start in the second game of a doubleheader at UMBC on March 3...Picked up first collegiate hit at UMBC on March 4...Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored at Davidson on March 13...Also drove in a run against Northern Iowa on March 17.

Before Yale: Lettered in both football and baseball, helping the baseball team to a 2003 KHSAA State Championship...A two-time All-State baseball selection...Also a Wendy's High School All-American and a two-time football All-City selection.
