Four Bulldogs Named To NABC Honors Court
Willhite, Martin, Morgan, Katz Recognized For Work In Classroom
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Four Yale players – Reggie Willhite, Sam Martin, Austin Morgan and Brian Katz – were honored for their work in the classroom this past season. All four were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, which recognizes those collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the 2011-12 season.
The qualifications for the Honors Court are:
- Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2011-12 academic year
- Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution
- Member of an NCAA Division I, II, III or NAIA institution
Yale's four selections were the most of any Ivy League school.
