In 2003-04, Martin's .603 field goal percentage was the third-best in school history, led the Ivy League and was eighth in all of Division I. In addition, he finished 14th in the league in scoring (11.6 ppg.) and 12th in rebounding (5.1 rpg.). He was named the Ivy League Player of the Week after making all seven of his shots and finishing with 14 points against St. Peter's. Against Penn, he scored a season-high 20 points on 9 of 14 shooting from the field, and he also was named to the all-tournament team at the Marist Classic after scoring 19 points in the victory over Coastal Carolina in the championship game.
After transferring from Princeton, Martin sat out the 2002-03 season. At Princeton, he started 21 games for the Tigers in 2001-02 and averaged 4.1 points and 2.4 rebounds.
AT A.C. REYNOLDS: Martin averaged 21 points, 12 rebounds and two assists as a senior at A.C. Reynolds. He was named the conference and region player of the year. In addition, he was a member of the National Honor Society and a senior class representative.
PERSONAL: Dominick was born on Aug. 24, 1983. He is the son of Juan and Laura Martin. At Yale he is a history major.
