Building on a series of outstanding results in international competition, former Yale men’s heavyweight crew captain Tom Dethlefs ’12 won a Bronze medal on Sept. 1 at the 2013 World Rowing Championships. Dethlefs sat in the seven seat of the U.S. men’s eight that finished third behind boats from Great Britain and Germany out on the waters of Chungju Tangeum Lake in Chungju, South Korea.
