Yale Falls in Henley Semifinal
New Haven, CT – On day four of the Henley Royal Regatta, Yale fell to the University of Washington. The Huskies went on to beat Oxford Brookes to win the Temple Challenge Cup.
This marks the official end to the '17-'18 season. The back-to-back IRA National Champions return to the Housatonic in late August.
For rowers that have the opportunity, racing at the Henley Royal Regatta remains one of the most memorable moments of their rowing career. Out of this year's Henley boat, five rowers and the coxswain will return to Yale in the fall.
Though the Yale oarsmen will not race for Yale until the fall, many current and recent graduates are pursuing respective national teams. Both the U23 and Senior World Championships take place during the upcoming two months.
