New Haven, Conn. - The Yale varsity 4+ will race in the petite finals at the IRA Championships tomorrow after finishing fifth with a time of 6:36.511 in its semifinal this morning. The four, which is racing in the heavyweight event, beat Princeton by 10 seconds but finished behind Washington, California, Brown, and Temple. The Bulldogs' lineup was Michael Jonas, Michael LeFevour, Colin Corcoran, Adam Lukasiewicz, and coxswain Regina DeLuna. They will race tomorrow in the petite final at 9:00 a.m. The field includes George Washington, Penn, Princeton, Syracuse, and Temple.
The varsity eight will also race for the national championship tomorrow at 11:45 a.m. The boat's lineup is Greg Hausheer, Noah McColl, Rich Littlehale, William Zeng, Jeremy Hopkins, John Grunyk, Brendan McCook, Andrew Hakanson, and coxswain Stephen Dobeck. Yale is seeded third in a field that includes Dartmouth, Georgetown, Harvard, Navy, Penn, and Princeton.
