2017-18 (Sophomore):  Rowed in the first varsity eight throughout the regular season with wins over Navy, MIT, Georgetown, Penn, Dartmouth and Harvard. Rowed in the first varsity eight that placed seventh at the Eastern Sprints. Rowed in the varsity eight that placed sixth at the IRA National Championship Regatta.

2016-17 (Freshman): Rowed bow seat of the first varsity eight with regular season wins over Navy, MIT and Georgetown, Penn and Columbia, Dartmouth and Princeton. Bow seat of the first varsity eight that placed sixth at the Eastern Sprints. Two seat of the coxed four that placed seventh at the IRA National Championship Regatta. 

Before Yale: First place in the Men’s Youth 8+ at the Head of the Charles with a second place finish in the Men’s Youth 8+ and Youth Nationals (2015-16);  Fourth Place in the Men’s Youth 8+ at Youth Nationals (2014-2015); First Place in the Men’s Lightweight 8+ at Youth Nationals (2013-2014);

Personal: While not rowing James enjoys Backpacking, Mountaineering, Cooking, and going to the beach.
