Varsity Eight Qualifies For Grand Final

CAMDEN, N.J. - The Yale varsity eight qualified for the Grand Final by placing third in the second heat on Saturday morning at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships on the Cooper River. The Bulldogs finished in 5:53.307. Cornell was first with a time of 5:50.37 and Georgetown (5:51.577) was second.

In the boat for Yale were Daniel Ensslen, Mikkel Krenchel, Nick Panza, James Johnson, Richard Littlehale, Chris Blum, Gregory Hopkins, Peter Reiser and coxswain Emily Cleveland.

Due to the threat of severe weather this afternoon, the Grand Final has been moved up to 1:36 p.m.
