NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's fencing team is gearing up for two dual-meets this weekend against Sacred Heart and Drew University. The Bulldogs will play hosts to Sacred Heart at 1 p.m. and Drew University at 3 p.m. The meet will take place in the seventh floor fencing salon in the Payne Whitney Gymnasium.

This is the third year in a row that Yale will host the Triangular meet against the two schools. The Bulldogs have swept the competition both of the past two years. Last year, Yale defeated Sacred Heart by a score of 16-11 and Drew by a final score of 21-6. Both scores were improvements over the previous year's victories, which both came by final scores of 15-12.

This is Yale's first home meet of the season and the Bulldogs will make every effort enjoy the home field advantage this weekend. The Elis are hoping to repeat last year's large fan turnout in one of their last tune-ups before the Ivy Championships.
