Yale 2-0 After First Day of Ivy Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Yale men's fencing team finished with a 2-0 record after the first day of fencing in the Ivy League Championship tournament. The two-day round robin competition is hosted by Princeton and determines the winner of the Ivy League. Yale defeated Columbia 19-8 and Brown 19-8. The Bulldogs are currently tied for first place with Harvard, as both teams have perfect 2-0 records. Yale is scheduled to fence Harvard, Penn and Princeton tomorrow.
