Saturday’s Yale-Brown Football Game to be Video Streamed On-line

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale Athletics Department will offer a video stream of this Saturday's Yale-Brown game, featuring the broadcast team of Ron Vaccaro '04 (play-by-play), Carm Cozza (color commentary) and Alex Goldberger '08 (sideline) on yalebulldogs.com. The video stream will be available for $6.95. It can also be purchased as part of Yale's All-Access package that includes home basketball, ice hockey and volleyball games for $49.95.

Vaccaro, a two-time Emmy Award winner for his work with NBC on Olympic coverage, is in his fourth full season as the Voice of Yale Football. Cozza, a member of the College Football Hall of Fame, coached at Yale for 32 seasons and has the Ivy League record for wins (179, including 10 Ivy League titles). He has served as the Yale football color commentator since 1998. Goldberger, who also works for NBC, is in his second season on the sideline.

The broadcast will feature a visit from Erik Jensen '63 in the third quarter. Jensen, who played on Yale's undefeated Ivy League championship team in 1960, has three brothers who also played for the Bulldogs. This Saturday marks the opening of Jensen Plaza, a gathering place by the main entrance to the Yale Bowl that includes the name of all Yale football letter winners. The Kenney Center, which includes team meeting rooms and an alumni area with views to the field, also opens on Saturday. Both facilities will be dedicated at the Nov. 21 Yale-Harvard game.

Saturday's video stream will be a one-camera shoot from the press box at the Yale Bowl, Class of 1954 Field.
