Koury, Reising Earn Academic Honor

Bulldogs Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Two seniors on the Yale football team, Jake Koury (Dublin, Ohio) and Jesse Reising (Decatur, Ill.), have earned first-team 2010 CoSIDA Academic All-District honors.

Koury, a center, is an economics major with a 3.65 GPA. He is a two-year starter who has helped the Bulldogs lead the conference in passing offense this fall.

Reising, who has 3.75 GPA while majoring in political science and economics, is second on the team with 24 solo tackles in his first year as a starter. The Eli linebacker was a semifinalist for the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame's 2010 William V. Campbell Trophy.
