Wescoe, McCarthy Named to Northeast PING Region Team

Bulldogs Earn Golf Coaches Association of America All-Region

Rising senior Ben Wescoe and rising junior Thomas McCarthy were named to the Northeast PING All-Region team by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

The duo both earned All-Ivy honors and was two of only six Ivy Leaguers who made the Northeast PING Region Team.

McCarthy's best finish of the year came at the Ivy League Championship. He shot rounds of 69, 72, and 71 to finish in a tie for third. He missed out on first place by just one stroke. For the season, McCarthy led the Bulldogs in stroke average. His season average was 73.83 strokes with a low-round of 68.

Wescoe had his second strongest finish at the Ivy League Championship. He shot rounds of 73, 70, and 70 to finish in a tie for fifth. Wescoe's best finish of the year came at the ECAC Championship where he won the event. Wescoe will serve as captain for the Bulldogs next season.
