Yale Concludes Season in 12th at Columbus Regional

Columbus, Ohio – The Yale men's golf team concluded an immensely successful 2017–18 season, which included an Ivy League Championship in addition to a plethora of team and individual victories, with a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Columbus Regional on Wednesday. Senior captain Will Bernstein and junior James Nicholas posted the highest finishes of any of the five Bulldog golfers competing at OSU's Scarlet Course by tying for 34th and 37th respectively. 

No. 1 Oklahoma State won the regional by eight strokes after carding an eight-under, 281 to best second-place No. 11 Illinois while No. 22 UNLV, Northwestern and No. 13 Texas Tech also finished among the top five teams to clinch spots in the 2018 NCAA Men's Golf Championship.  Wednesday's third and final round was also the final eighteen holes of collegiate golf for Bernstein and senior Henry Cassriel who tied for 52nd overall with a 16-over, 229.
