NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After concluding its season at the NCAA Columbus Regional in May, the Yale men's golf team saw four of its student-athletes named as 2018 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars. Outgoing captain Will Bernstein and Henry Cassriel, who both graduated this spring, were selected among the record number of 267 honorees for Division I in addition to rising seniors Eoin Leonard and James Nicholas.
The quartet of Bulldogs maintained cumulative grade-point averages of at least 3.2 during their collegiate careers and posted stroke-averages under 76.0 during the 2017–18 season to qualify for the award. Yale's four selections were the most of any Ivy League school among the 11 total players chosen from the Ancient Eight. This is the second straight season Bernstein was named as a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar after landing a spot on the team in 2017.
