2007-08: Led all freshmen (4th overall) in NCAA Division I with six game-winning goals... Finished second on the team in points after an 11-12-23 campaign... Received Martin Dwyer Award (along with Denny Kearney) which goes to the team's best freshman... Named ECAC Rookie of the Week for a three-goal output in a win against Nebraska-Omaha on 12/28.

Before Yale: Captained hockey team at Cushing Academy his senior year... Led NEPSIHA in points (44-29-73)... Won the team's MVP award and was named first-team all-league that same season...
