Senior Forward Earns ECAC Honor
ALBANY, N.Y. – Broc Little (Rindge, N.H.) earned ECAC Hockey Player of the Week honors after helping the No. 3 ranked Yale men's hockey team to a conference weekend sweep on Nov. 19-20 in Northern New York.
Little, in a pair of games Yale had to erase deficits, hit the net twice and had three points. He had a goal and an assist in the 4-2 win at Cornell before adding a goal in the 6-4 game at Colgate. It was Yale's second (Denny Kearney) player of the week honor this season.
The senior forward leads the team with seven goals and 15 points and is the only Bulldog with three (PP, SH, GW) different types of goals this season.
Earlier this fall, Little was named one of the 20 candidates for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award in hockey, which honors student-athletes who excel both on and off the ice.
Little (103 gp, 60-54-114), who has 11 more points than career games played, skated in the Detroit Red Wings' development camp last summer and had a game-high two goals in the final scrimmage.
