Yale No. 1 For 6th Straight Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Bulldogs will wear the bullseye for the sixth straight week as the nation's top ranked men's college hockey team.

 

Yale received all 33 first-place votes in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll and 45 of 50 in the uscho.com poll. North Dakota, Boston College, New Hampshire, Minnesota-Duluth, Denver, Michigan and Notre Dame round out the top eight on both lists. The Fighting Sioux and Eagles, also with long active win streaks, were the other schools to earn first-place tallies.

 

The Elis, coming off ECAC road wins over Dartmouth and Harvard last weekend, are 14-1 overall (8-0 ECAC) with nine straight victories. Yale has a home-and-home, 4 p.m. series with Brown this weekend on Saturday (New Haven) and Sunday (Providence).
