Falcone Named Lowe's All-American
Senior Goalie Earns National Honor
BALTIMORE, Md. – Johnathan Falcone (Flemington, NJ), a finalist for this spring's Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, was named to the company's second-team senior All-America squad.
Falcone, who ranked seventh in Division I with a 7.30 goals against average and was 14th in save percentage (.559) this spring, was in net for every decision this season. He is eighth on the Yale career save chart with 360. The Bulldog netminder was also the team defensive player of the year (Christian Prince Award).
Lowe's Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – community, classroom, character and competition.
