Face-Off Pre-Season Ivy List Has 3 Elis

McCormack, Johnson, Levings Add to Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Three members of the Yale men's lacrosse team were selected by the Ivy League coaches as Inside Lacrosse 2013 Face-Off Yearbook Pre-Season All-Conference. Senior defensemen Michael McCormack (West Islip, N.Y.) and Peter Johnson (Minnetonka, Minn.) and junior face-off man Dylan Levings (Massapequa, N.Y.) added to their list of pre-season honors by making the insidelacrosse.com list.

All three Yale players were nationally ranked in key statistical categories during the 2012 campaign as the Elis enjoyed a nine-game win streak, a league tournament title and an NCAA Tournament appearance.

The Bulldogs, led by its senior captain, McCormack, were picked third by the coaches in the team poll. Cornell and Princeton, the two teams Yale beat in the Ivy League Tournament last May, were first and second respectively.
