8 Bulldogs Named to NEILA Pre-season Teams

Four Make First Team


NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its list of athletes earing spots on its 2014 pre-season teams and eight Bulldogs were named to the first or second team.


Seniors Brandon Mangan (attack) and Jimmy Craft (defense) received the most votes at their position, landing them a spot on the first team.  Midfielder Colin Flaherty and long stick midfielder Michael Quinn also earned first-team honors.


The NEILA second-team players include attackman Conrad Oberbeck, midfielder Ryan McCarthy, short stick defenseman Harry Kucharczyk, and face-off specialist Dylan Levings


The Bulldogs, coming off a second straight NCAA appearance in 2013, open the 2014 campaign on Feb. 22 against St. John's at Reese Stadium.
