Junior Has 6-Goal Game at Michigan
PRINCETON, NJ – Conrad Oberbeck's career-high outing in a win at Michigan Saturday has earned him a share of the Ivy League Player of the Week honors. The junior attackman hit the net six times and dished out two assists in the 13-7 win.
Oberbeck, who leads the team with 29 goals and 39 points, is the first player to earn a league honor this spring for the 8-3 Bulldogs, who qualified for the Ivy League Tournament next weekend.
The Greenwich, Conn., native is 13th on the Yale career goals list with 85, while his 109 points are 22nd.
The Elis are home Tuesday night at 7 to host Quinnipiac before Harvard comes in Saturday for a 1:30 game that airs on Fox College Sports.
