Reeves, Shay Earn Top ECAC Honors

9 Bulldogs Named to NEILA All-Star Team


DANBURY, Conn. – Ben Reeves and Andy Shay were named Ivy League Player of the Year and coach of the year, respectively, late last month. Lacrosse coaches in the ECAC agreed and named the Elis' pair to the same awards. Reeves, a senior attackman, is the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year, while Shay is ECAC Coach of the Year.

Reeves, a three-time Tewaaraton Award finalist and All-American, was also named New England Player of the Year this week. Teammate, Chris Fake, a first-year defenseman, made the ECAC second unit.

Reeves, Fake and seven other Bulldogs were named to the NEILA All-Star Team listed below.
