Yale to Face Cornell Next Friday in Ivy Semi

BOSTON, Mass.TD Ierlan and Jackson Morrill celebrated this week's announcement that they were Tewaaraton Award nominees by producing prolific performances in a rivalry game to end the regular season for the No. 4 Yale Men's Lacrosse Team.

Ierlan won all 26 of his face-off attempts, with a ground ball on 20 of those battles, and added 2 points, while Morrill had a career-high 10 points with 8 goals in the Bulldogs' 22-11 win over Harvard. Ierlan's day was a new NCAA record for perfection, while Morrill's point total was the most by a Yale player in 19 years.

The Bulldogs (11-2, 5-1 Ivy), who enjoyed their biggest offensive day ever against Harvard, completed the season with 5 consecutive victories and a combined 93 goals. They jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first few minutes today and never looked back, getting goals from 12 different players in a second straight win over the Crimson.

The visitors were getting it done at the other end as well. Jack Starr played the first 41 minutes and made 7 saves before Hoyt Crance, Brody Wilson and Miles Leniw came in to complete the dominating defensive showing.
