NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale and Cornell played a memorable game at Reese Stadium last year. Chris Dennen's goal with 13 seconds left in the second half lifted the Bulldogs to a thrilling 4-3 victory. The seven goals were the most in a game for Yale since 2006. When the two teams meet again Saturday in Ithaca, it figures to be a more low-scoring affair. Neither the Bulldogs nor the Big Red have allowed or scored four goals in a game this season. Kickoff at Berman Field is slated for 7 p.m.

Yale (1-9-1, 0-2 Ivy) will be playing its third straight Ivy League road game. The Bulldogs opened league play with a 1-0 loss to Harvard and then dropped a 3-1 decision at Dartmouth last Saturday. Sebastian Serra was named to the Ivy League Honor Roll on Monday. Serra scored his first career goal against the Big Green. At the time it tied the score at 1-1 early in the second. Dartmouth, though, answered with two goals in a 6-minute stretch to escape with the win.

Cornell (4-3-4, 0-1-1 Ivy) is coming off a 2-0 victory over Colgate on Tuesday night. Franck Onambele and Will Ogden scored first-half goals and the Big Red defense made the lead stand up. Chase Aaronson leads the team with three goals, while Jimmy Lannon has four assists. Goalkeeper Rick Pflasterer has played every minute of every game and has yielded just 10 goals.

In addition to Dennen, Brad Rose, Andy Hackbarth and Andy Shorten scored for the Bulldogs in last year's game. Yale is 4-1-1 in its last six games with the Big Red and leads the all-time series 40-23-14.
