Three Bulldogs Earn All-Ivy Recognition

Thalman Named Second Team; Alers, McKiernan Honorable Mention Selections

NEW HAVEN, Conn. –Three Yale men's soccer players have earned All-Ivy recognition. Goalkeeper Bobby Thalman earned second team honors for the second straight season, while defender Nick Alers and midfielder Max McKiernan were honorable mention selections.

Thalman, a senior, led the league with 77 saves, tied for second in shutouts (5) and was third in save percentage (.828). He finished his outstanding career with 236 saves and 11 shutouts.

Alers, a junior, earned All-Ivy honors for the third time in his career. He battled through injuries this year to appear in 10 games and help anchor the Yale defense.

McKiernan is an All-Ivy selection for this second year in a row. He started all 16 games he appeared in and led the Bulldogs midfield.
