Teams Meet For Third Time

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's soccer team is back on the road Tuesday, traveling to Albany for a non-league game. Kickoff at Bob Ford Field is slated for 7 p.m.

Here are storylines for the game:

• The Bulldogs (2-6) are coming off an emotional 2-1 victory over Harvard on Saturday in their Ivy League opener. Yale scored twice in the final 2 minutes, 15 seconds to escape with the win. Henos Musie scored the game-winner on a free kick with just 40 seconds left.

• Yale's other goal on Saturday was scored by junior Conner Lachenbruch. The Bulldogs have been getting a more balanced attack in recent games. Yale's last five goals have each come from a different player.

Peter Jacobson is tied for second in the Ivy League with four goals.

• The Bulldogs are making their first trip to Albany. The teams have split two previous meetings, both in New Haven. Yale won 1-0 in 2006, while the Great Danes were 2-0 winners last fall.

• Yale is the second Ivy League opponent for Albany, who dropped a 2-1 decision at Dartmouth on Sept. 28.

• Six of Albany's seven losses have come by one goal.

• Five of Albany's six goals on the season have come in the second half.

• Tim Allen has started nine games in goal for the Great Danes and has a .808 save percentage.

Video and live stats are both available for the game.
