Homestand Continues With Army on Tuesday Night

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Yale's four-game homestand continues on Tuesday night when Army comes to Reese Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff. The Bulldogs are unbeaten in their last three games and have played scoreless ties in each of their last two, including Saturday night in the Ivy League opener against Dartmouth.

Erik Geiger has posted the back-to-back shutouts in goal for Yale (1-4-2, 0-0-1 Ivy). In his last three games, Geiger has a 0.29 goals against average and a .964 save percentage. He is second in the Ivy League in saves (38) and save percentage (.864) and third in goals against average (0.93).

Yale's defense, anchored by Alex Guzinski, Max Rhodes and Frank Piasta, has allowed only eight goals all season, the second fewest in the Ivy League.

Army brings a 6-3-1 overall record to New Haven. The Black Knights are coming off a 1-0 loss to Colgate on Saturday. The Raiders scored the only goal in the 64th minute. Chris Conklin (6 goals), Garrett Dresel (3) and John Kubeika (2) have combined to score 11 of Army's 15 goals.

A.J. Glubzinski has seen a majority of the action in goal for Army and has a 0.95 goals against average.

Yale and Army are playing for the first time since 1978. The Black Knights lead the all-time series 19-10-6.
