PRINCETON, N.J. - A day after being upset by No. 6 Cornell in the quarterfinals of the CSA Team Championships, the No. 3 Yale men's squash team bounced back in its first consolation round match against No. 7 Dartmouth. The Bulldogs bested the Big Green 6-3, and will head to a 5th/6th place match against Rochester Sunday.

Junior All-American Hywel Robinson, who has battled injury, was out of the lineup after playing against Cornell Friday. He was replaced at the two spot by classmate Ricky Dodd, who had been at the three in previous matches. Both Dodd and No. 1 Kenneth Chan lost, Chan in four, Dodd in three.

Senior Skillman Award Nominee John Roberts gutted out a five-game marathon the Big Green's Luke Lee to give Yale a win at No. 3 (4-11,11-8,12-10,9-11,11-6), and captain Ryan Down took his No.4-spot match in four, 8-11,11-3,11-3,11-4.

Sophomore Neil Martin, senior Robby Berner and sophomore Eric Caine swept their matches at the No. 5, No. 6 spots and No. 9 spots, respectively, and Samuel Clayman got a clutch four-game win at No. 7. That match included an epic 18-16 second game in which Clayman just outlasted Dartmouth's Fletcher Pease.

The Bulldogs will play Rochester Sunday for fifth at the CSA Team Championships. No. 1 Trinity and No. 2 Princeton face off for the National Championship.
