NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The No. 4-ranked Yale men's squash team will kick off its fall season Friday with a pair of matches in the Bay State. The Bulldogs will face No. 22 Amherst before continuing their campaign at No. 11 Williams.
Yale enters the season as the CSA Team Championships' fourth-place team last spring and the runner-up at the Ivy Scrimmages this fall. The Bulldogs defeated Williams 5-4 last January, and have not faced the Lord Jeffs since the 2011-12 season, winning 9-0.
Williams has gotten off to a slow start, posting a 3-5 record with losses against No. 14 Penn and No. 3 Princeton. The Ephs will face seven of eight Ivy League programs this season. Amherst is just beginning its season, with only one match, a 9-0 win over No. 33 Northeastern, recorded so far.
The Bulldogs will face Amherst at 2 p.m. before traveling to Williams for a 5 p.m. match. For a more extensive season preview, please click here.
