PHILADELPHIA, Pa. —Saturday at the College Squash Association Individual Championships, freshman Kah Wah Cheong fell 3-0 to Trinity's Juan Vargas in the consolation bracket quarterfinals. Cheong was one of three Yale players competing in the tournament, with sophomore Sam Fenwick and senior Neil Martin having exited the day before.

Cheong reached the consolation quarterfinals after losing in the tournament's main draw and then defeating Harvard's Nigel Koh in the first consolation round. On Saturday, he played Vargas to a close first game, conceding in the end by a score of 11-10. The Bantam took control of the match from there, taking the next two games 11-7 and 11-4.

With Cheong the last Bulldog standing, the Yale men's squash team's season has officially ended. The Bulldogs went 16-3 (6-1 Ivy) and finished the season third in the country. Yale took second place in the Ivy League.
