  • Taking Yale Squash Abroad

    Over the summer I was both abroad and in New Haven training as if I was a professional athlete. In addition, I traveled to several locations to compete in professional tournaments.
  • Bulldogs Announce Team Award Winners, Honor Seniors

    The Yale men’s squash team announced the 2017-18 Special Recognition Awards at the annual team banquet, which was held the last week of April. With rising senior Jay Losty (Philadelphia, Pa.) being named Yale captain for 2018-19, the banquet honored the current seniors in addition to the award winners. Captain Thomas Kingshott (Greenwich, Conn.) led a group of six seniors who are graduating with a National Championship and an Ivy Title in their resume. These six were a tight group who propelled Yale to the national title two years ago and also experienced an incredibly competitive Ivy League. Kingshott and classmates Pierson Broadwater (Bronxville, N.Y.), Tripp Kaelin (Boston, Mass.), Arjun Kochhar (Mumbai, India), Max Martin (New Haven, Conn.) and Nader Rastegar (Westport, Conn.) left their mark on the program with what they accomplished these past four years.
  • Losty to Captain Bulldogs in 2018-19

    Jay Losty (Philadelphia, Pa.) has been named captain of the Yale men’s squash team for the 2018-19 season. Elected at the Yale men’s squash banquet held the last week of April, Losty will team up with fellow seniors Jonathan Kovac (Raanana, Israel) and Yohan Pandole (Mumbai, India) to lead the Bulldogs next season.
  • Winter Academic All-Ivy Announced

    The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for 2017-18 Academic All-Ivy honors in its winter sports today, and 10 Bulldogs were honored. The recipients were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages. Each institution nominated five men and five women from its eligible student-athletes.

Thomas Kingshott fell in four games at No. 6.

    Yale will be a part of hosting the largest individual squash tournament in the world starting this Saturday, as the U.S. Junior Open comes to the Brady Squash Center in Payne Whitney Gym. The tournament, which runs through next Tuesday and also includes matches at Loomis Chaffee School, Trinity and Wesleyan, is set for record participation: 940 players, representing 41 countries.
