NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Yale will look to bounce back from its first defeat of the season when it hosts Bates College, Navy, and Franklin & Marshall this weekend at the Yale Round Robin.
After losing to Trinity 9-0 on Wednesday, the Bulldogs hope to regain their form and improve to 11-1 on the season with wins this weekend.
Prior to the loss to Trinity, the Bulldogs defeated both Cornell and Western Ontario to improve to 8-0. Staying perfect was not easy though as Yale had to squeak out a 5-4 win over Cornell. The Bulldogs have also defeated Amherst, Williams College, Dartmouth, Rochester, Bowoin College, and Penn to date.
Ivy League Scrimmage
Yale finished second in the Ivy Scrimmage this season at Yale Nov. 8 and 9. The Bulldogs cruised to a 9-0 win over Brown in their opening match before defeating Cornell 5-4. Yale dropped its final match of the Ivy League Scrimmage to defending Ivy League champion Princeton 7-2.
