Bulldog Swimmers and Divers Honored
The Yale men’s swimming and diving team held its annual year-end banquet on Tuesday Apr. 9. The banquet was held at the President’s Ballroom at Woosley Hall. The banquet offers an opportunity for the team to celebrate its achievements of the season and to honor top performers and team members.

Harder Earns All-Ivy League Honors
Sophomore Rob Harder and senior Mike Dominski were both honored for their achievements in the swimming pool at the Ivy League Swimming and Diving Championships, which were held at the Katherine Moran Aquatics Center in Providence, R.I. on March 7-9. Yale finished behind Princeton, Harvard and Columbia for fourth place.

Yale Finishes Fourth in Ivy League Championships
The Yale men’s swimming and diving team finished fourth in the Ivy League Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday, wrapping up three days of competition at the Katherine Moran Aquatics Center. Princeton held on for the victory with 1514 points. Harvard finished in second place with 1446 and Columbia finished with 1135. Yale finished with 1038.5 followed by Dartmouth, Penn, Brown and Cornell.

Yale Maintains Fourth Place at Ivy League Championships
The Yale men’s swimming and diving team maintained its hold on fourth place after the second day of the Ivy League Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday. Princeton is in first place with 972 points, followed by Harvard with 949 points. Columbia holds on to third place with 756 points with Yale right behind at 719.5 points.

Elis Ready for Ivy League Championships
The Yale men’s swimming and diving team will head to Providence, R.I., this weekend for the Ivy League Championships. The three-day meet begins Thursday, March 7 and ends Saturday, March 9. The meet will take place at the Katherine Moran Aquatics Center in Providence. The Elis will be looking to improve upon last year’s team performance and for individual ‘A’ or ‘B’ times, which qualify the competitors for the NCAA Championships which take place March 28-30 in Indianapolis, Ind.

Harder Breaks Pool Record on Day One of Ivy League Championships
The Yale men’s swimming and diving team is in fourth place after the first day of the Ivy League Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday. Yale finished with 295 points and trails Harvard, Princeton and Columbia at the Katherine Moran Aquatics Center. The Elis are already in a tight race with Columbia for third place, trailing by only six points heading into Friday’s events.

Bulldogs Post Highest GPA in the Country
The Yale men’s swimming and diving team posted the highest grade-point average in the country for the fall semester of 2012. The College Swimming Coaches Association of America posted its scholar All-American Team rankings on Monday and for the third consecutive semester Yale topped the list.

Bulldogs Down Brown
In their last regular-season meet of the year, the Yale men’s swimming and diving team defeated Brown 213-86. The Bulldogs were dominant on Saturday at Robert J.H. Kiphuth Exhibition Pool. The victory helped Yale honor its seniors on Saturday for their four years of commitment to the team. Saturday marked the last time captain Jared Lovett, Mike Dominski and Aaron Seriff-Cullick would get to compete at Robert J.H. Kiphuth Exhibition Pool.

Yale Looks For Momentum Against Brown
Coming off of its first losses of the season, the Yale men's swimming and diving team looks to bounce back against Brown. The Elis host the Bears at Robert J.H. Kiphuth Exhibition Pool Saturday, Feb. 16 at 1:00 p.m. (changed from original date due to winter storm). The dual meet is the last of the regular season before the Ivy League championships begin on Mar. 7.

Elis Fall to Harvard and Princeton
Sophomore Andrew Heymann broke his own Yale record in the 200-yard breaststroke Sunday, but the Yale men’s swimming and diving team was defeated by Harvard and Princeton on Sunday at DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, N.J. Sunday’s defeat at the annual, two-day HYP meet, marked the Bulldogs’ first losses of the season.

Bulldogs Remain Unbeaten
The Yale men’s swimming and diving team defeated Fordham and Rider on Saturday at Rutgers University Aquatic Center. The victories bring Yale’s record to a perfect 7-0 on the season. The Elis defeated Fordham 201-97 and Rider 203-93.

The Yale men’s swimming and diving team is back in the pool for their second meet of the week. This Saturday Jan. 12, the Elis will be competing against Dartmouth and Penn at Sheerr Pool in Philadelphia. Diving will begin at 10:00 a.m. and swimming will begin at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Yale Holds On to Defeat Dartmouth and Penn
The Yale men’s swimming and diving team defeated Dartmouth and Penn on Saturday at Sheer Pool in Philadelphia. In the most competitive meet of the season thus far, Yale defeated Dartmouth 154.50 to 145.50. Yale defeated Penn 176 to 124.

The Yale men’s swimming and diving team is set to compete this Monday, Jan. 7 against Cornell. The Elis will be competing at Teagle Hall Pool in Ithaca, NY. The dual meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. EST.

Bulldogs Defeat Cornell in First Meet of 2013
The Yale men’s swimming and diving team overcame an early deficit Monday, defeating Cornell by a score of 176-124. Both the men and women’s teams competed in the dual meet at Cornell’s Teagle Pool for the midweek event.

Bulldogs Defeat Massachusetts To End Semester
In the last meet of the calendar year, Yale men’s swimming and diving defeated Massachusetts Saturday afternoon by a score of 213 to 87. The Elis dominated Saturday afternoon at Joseph R. Rogers, Jr. Pool, claiming first place in every swimming event. Yale swimmers in the 200-yard medley relay and the 100-yard breaststroke broke two pool records. Unbeaten on the season, Yale ended its competition for the fall semester with a victory.

Yale Wins Bucknell Invitational
Yale men’s swimming and diving won the Bucknell Invitational Sunday night in what turned out to be a successful early-season outing for the team. The Nov. 16-18 Bucknell Invitational was Yale’s second official meet of the season. The Elis secured a victory through their depth and the efforts of sophomores Alwin Firmansyah, Rob Harder and Andrew Heymann. The Bulldogs won with a total of 1,550 points. Delaware and Bucknell rounded out the top three.

Elis Maintain First Place at Bucknell Invitational
The Yale men’s swimming and diving team continued their success Saturday, building upon their lead at the Bucknell Invitational. After scoring 453 points Friday, the Elis scored 624 points Saturday, bringing the team’s grand total to 1,077. Through two whole days of competition, the Elis are in first place.

Friday night the Yale men’s swimming and diving team took the lead after one day of competition at the Bucknell Invitational. The three-day meet started Friday morning and concludes Sunday evening. The Elis sit in first place after scoring a total of 453 points.

Bulldogs Back in the Pool for the Bucknell Invitational
The Yale men's swimming and diving team is set to compete this weekend at the Bucknell Invitational. The three-day meet is hosted by Bucknell University and will take place Nov. 16-18 in Lewisburg, Pa., at the Kinney Auditorium. The Elis are back in the pool for the first time since their season-opening victory against Columbia on Saturday, Nov. 10. Competing in one of their only two home meets, Yale defeated Columbia by a score of 170-130 at Kiphuth Pool. Yale was led by strong performances from sophomores Alwin Firmansyah and Andrew Heymann, who each won three individual races.

Yale Tops Columbia in Season Opener
In one of only two home meets this season, the Yale men’s swimming and diving team defeated Columbia in Kiphuth Pool on Saturday. Yale won all but four swimming events and split the diving events with the Lions. Of Yale’s 11 wins, sophomores Alwin Firmansyah and Andrew Heymann claimed three each. The final score was Yale 170, Columbia 130.

Bulldogs Ready for 2012-13 Season
At the end of this week the Yale men’s swimming and diving team is set to begin racing. The Bulldogs will open their season at home against Columbia, following on two weekends of pre-season scrimmages.

Men's Swimming and Diving Class of 2016 Ranked No. 25 in Nation
The Yale men's swimming and diving team will welcome eight new team members into the fold this year. Robert J.H. Kiphuth Head Coach of Men's Swimming and Diving Tim Wise, diving coach Chris Bergere, assistant coach Kevin Norman and senior captain Jared Lovett have seven swimmers and one diver joining them for the 2012-13 season, a freshman class that was ranked 25th in the nation and third in the Ivy League according to a CollegeSwimming.com ranking from this past summer.

Men’s Swimmers Compete at Olympic Trials
Two members of the Yale men’s swimming and diving team were among the thousands to compete at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials that concluded on Monday. Rising sophomore Rob Harder and incoming freshman Kevin Stang both got a chance to go up against some big names in the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb., where 47 swimmers were ultimately chosen to represent the U.S. at the London Olympics.

Two Bulldogs Bound for U.S. Olympic Trials
In just a few days the Yale men’s swimming and diving team will see two of its sons get a chance at going to the London Olympics. Two Bulldogs are scheduled to compete at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Omaha, Neb., from June 25 to July 2.
