Jeff was a three time letterman at Barrington High school and took 6th place his senior year at the Illinois state meet. The thinking that Jeff has learned from diving through high-school and into college has helped him act effectively in many other domains of his life, especially now at Yale.

Jeff appreciates Yale for its unprecedented network of resources and opportunities that are specifically tailored and made available to the members of its community. This, coupled with the unparalleled ambition and the humility of the student body has reassured him that Yale was the perfect choice.

Jeff is a political science major moving towards a career in international finance with hopes of entrepreneurship in the future.

In his freshman season Jeff won the 1 and 3 meter events at the Nutmeg invitational but just fell short of a zone NCAA qualifying score. After this " slow start", as he views it, he stayed in New Haven over the 2005 summer and trained daily with Yale diving coach Ryan Moehnke. His worked payed off when he set a new Yale 3 meter record, 345.76, qualified for NCAA zones and won the Heaton High Point Award his sophomore year.

This year Jeff is excited about the depth of the diving team and the excellent training atmosphere it creates. He expects this year to begin a dynasty unprecedented in Yale men's diving history. He hopes to final at Nationals and, most importantly, "to continue to learn everyday."
