New Haven, CT - The Bulldogs won their home opener 144-72 against Southern Connecticut State Sunday at the Robert Kiphuth Memorial Exhibition Pool.

Both senior Jeffrey Lichtenstein and junior Chris Pool placed in first in two events during the meet Sunday. Lichtenstein won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events. Lichtenstein's results were both school records. His 3-meter score was also a pool record. Pool won both the 50 and 100-yard freestyle races by over a second each.
