2010-11 Season (Junior): Elected captain for the 2011-2012 season by his teammates... ITA Scholar-Athlete … Awarded the Stuart D. Ludlum, Jr. ’62 Memorial Award, which is given to that player who exhibits the qualities of enthusiasm, perseverance, and team spirit... Finished the fall with a 6-4 singles record… Highlight of the fall season was winning the USTA Billy Jean King National Tennis Center Men’s College Invitational Singles "B" draw… Represented the Northeast Region in the main draw of doubles at the ITA All-American championships... Played nine doubles matches in the fall... Went 7-14 in singles at No. 4 in spring... Went 13-8 in doubles at No. 2...
2009-10 Season (Sophomore): ITA Scholar-Athlete … Second team All-Ivy League in doubles with Joel Samaha … Finished with a 16-13 singles record, 8-4 in the fall and 8-9 in the spring at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 positions … Highlight of the fall was reaching the semifinals in singles at the Yale Invitational and the finals in the Connecticut State Championships… Went 22-11 in doubles, 7-2 in the fall and 15-9 in the spring at No. 1 and No. 2 positions.
2008-09 Season (Freshman): ITA Scholar-Athlete … Finished with a 16-19 singles record, 5-8 in the fall and 11-11 in the spring at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 position … Finished with a 17-12 doubles record, 8-6 in the fall and 9-6 in the spring at No. 2 and No. 3 positions … Reached the semifinals at the Connecticut State Championships in doubles with teammate Jordan Abergel.
Before Yale: Made a major breakthrough on the national junior tennis scene in the summer of 2008 … In June 2008, playing in the 16 & Under division of the Northern California Sectional Championships, was unseeded and reached the finals in singles before losing in three sets … Won the doubles championships in the 16 & Under division of the Northern California Sectional Championships … Also won the 16 & Under division of the Northern California Sectional Championships Sportsmanship Award … Followed that up in July 2008 with another solid performance at the Super National Claycourt Championships, knocking off two seeded players … Topped off summer 2008 run in August at the Super National Hardcourt Championships in Kalamazoo, Mich., again defeating two seeded players before succumbing in three sets to the country's No. 1 16 & Under player.
