2016-17 Season (Freshman): Began the season with seven straight singles wins ... won out in singles at the Penn Invitational ... reached the singles final of the Connecticut State Championships ... also secured the doubles trophy in the same tournament alongside Andrew Heller ...  reached the final of his singles draw at the Dartmouth Invitational ... won his first round match at the ITA Northeast Regionals ... finished the fall with a 9-2 doubles record and 10-3 singles record ... alternated between playing at No. 4, 5, and 6 singles positions during the spring ... notched his first Ivy League win with a victory over Penn's Marshall Sharp ... paired up with Dylan King at No. 2 doubles to notch a 10-3 overall doubles record in the spring ... finished the season with a team-leading 19-5 doubles record.

 

Before Yale: captain and team MVP of San Marino High School team junior and senior year ... team accolades included: league champions 2013-16, CIF champions 2013-14, CIF state finalists 2013-14, third place in National All American tournament ... made All Area First Team for four consecutive years between 2013 and 2016 ... named All American in 2016.

Notes: Ryan is the first college varsity athlete in his family. In his spare time, he volunteers at the beach in hopes of finding a billion dollars.
