2017-18 Season (Senior): Closed out fall season by winning singles draw in Connecticut State Championships… won doubles draw in Connecticut State Championships alongside fellow senior Fedor Andrienko as well… recipient of James A. Hutchinson Award, which is given to the member of the team who, during the year by sportsmanship and cooperative spirit, has done the most for tennis at Yale… overall singles record of 18-13… overall doubles record of 20-12… played primarily in No. 1 doubles position with Andrienko… won Ivy Plus doubles title alongside Andrienko… alternated between No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 positions in singles play in dual matches… reached semifinals of Dartmouth Invitational in doubles play… won three of four Ivy Plus singles matches.

 

2016-17 Season (Junior): Started the season with semifinal appearances at the Ivy Plus and Dartmouth Invitational in singles ... reached the semifinals of the ITA Northeast Regional Championships alongside Alex Hagermoser in doubles ... primarily started at the No. 1 doubles and No. 4 singles positions in the spring ... won 11 straight singles matches between Feb. and March, including a highlight victory over No. 8 California's Filip Bergevi ... finished the spring season with a 12-7 overall singles record ... elected by his teammates as captain for 2017-18 season ... ITA Scholar-Athlete.

 

2015-16 Season (Sophomore): Bounced back from a serious injury in the fall to record a 10-6 singles record in the spring ... won 10 of his last 12 singles matches ... posted a team-best 5-1 singles record in Ivy League play, including a highlight three-set victory over Columbia's Richard Pham  ... normally alternated between playing No. 4 and No. 5 singles ... paired up with Andrienko to notch a win over Columbia's top doubles team ... ITA Scholar-Athlete.

 

2014-15 Season (Freshman): Began his Yale career with a 7-2 singles record in his first nine matches, including four wins at the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championship tournament … Won his first six doubles matches in the fall and reached the final of the Connecticut State Championships alongside classmate Fedor Andrienko … Began the spring in the No. 6 singles position but eventually moved up to claim the No. 3 spot after going 12-4 from January through March … Also posted a phenomenal 13-3 record in doubles during this time and established himself at the top of the doubles lineup with Andrienko … Notched a league best 5-2 record at No. 1 doubles during the Ivy League season, including upsets over nationally ranked Dartmouth (No. 32), Harvard (No. 26), and Princeton (No. 53) teams … Along with Andrienko, finished the season with a national doubles ranking of No. 59 and earned an All-Ivy First Team doubles selection ... Received the George A. Phelps '95 Memorial Award (recognizing greatest improvement) at the team's end-of-year banquet ... Selected as ITA Northeast Region Rookie of the Year for an eye-opening freshman season in which he posted a 46-17 combined record in all singles and doubles competition ... ITA Scholar-Athlete.

 

Before Yale: Went undefeated sophomore through senior year of high school … Three-time MVP in high school league … Four-time league singles champion … Four-time MVP of his high school squad … Led his team to the league title his senior year … Co-captain of his high school team junior and senior year … High School All-American … Singles and doubles champion at Irvine Nationals … Singles semifinalist at Ojai, a competitive USTA junior tournament … Played many junior doubles tournaments alongside Tyler Lu, including a semifinal run at the Spring International Championships … Also took part in the Pacific Cup.

Notes: Vice President of the California Scholarship Federation at Foothill … In this capacity, he organized and led multiple community service projects such as aiding the Ecological Reserve at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands.
