2017-18 Season (Junior): Won 12 singles matches and 11 doubles matches… co-recipient of Stuart D. Ludlum Jr. ’62 Memorial Award, which is given to the player who exhibits the qualities of enthusiasm, perseverance, and team spirit… reached round of 16 in Ivy Plus and won three of four matches… won first three matches of ITA Northeast Regionals.

 

2016-17 Season (Sophomore): Started the season with five straight singles wins ... won all three of his matches at the Penn Invitational ... reached the semifinals of his singles draw at the Dartmouth Invitational ... also reached the doubles final in the same tournament alongside Dennis Wang ... finished the fall with a 6-2 overall doubles record ... started several dual matches at the No. 3 doubles position ... ITA Scholar-Athlete.

 

2015-16 Season (Freshman): Began his Yale career by winning all four of his doubles matches at the Penn Invitational ... won four straight matches to reach the finals of the Connecticut State Championships in singles ... qualified for the USTA/ITA Northeast Regionals and won a consolation singles match ... had a strong fall season with a 7-5 overall singles record ... won his final three singles matches of the season over opponents from Bryant, Fairfield and Stony Brook ... showed good chemistry in doubles with his classmate Dennis Wang, winning a match at No. 1 doubles against Bryant ... ITA Scholar-Athlete.

 

Before Yale: Was captain of Coronado High School squad ... Garnered all-city MVP recognition three times ... Texas 6A state singles champion ... four-time team district champion ... two-time semifinalist in Texas team state competition ... two-time USTA Southwest Sportsmanship Award winner ... Awarded a one-time $1,500 scholarship from the Southwest Tennis Foundation for "excellence both on the court and in the classroom."
